"Outside The Plan" originally means "unplanned," here alluding to my unexpected birth. The transliterated "Odyssey" in this work both refers to "me" and suggests a tortuous and adventurous life.
Odyssey Brien is my first attempt, as a bystander, to re-examine and present 28 years of my life. I divided it into four stages by timeline: ages 0–7 (The Secret in the Closet), 8–14 (The Mirror), 15–21 (Looking for Odyssey Brien), and 22–28 (The Woman Who Married Herself). In terms of presentation, the work is divided into six parts: cast list, script, script installation, painting installation, video, and readymade installation.
When I began this work over a year ago, I initially tried to construct "me" piece by piece through the process of looking back, integrating the personality I had formed since childhood. But when I one day realized that this "self" was something particularly dangerous, I shifted from "self-completion" to "self-dissolution." The completion of the work became the moment of farewell to "me."

“Outside The Plan” 原意是“计划外”,在这里则暗指我意外的出生;而音译的“奥德赛”在这件作品里既代指“我”,又暗示了曲折而冒险的一生。
